Product works best when applied to surfaces that have been primed and painted with a satin or semi-gloss finish. Applications on flat and matte paints and textured surfaces are not recommended.

If you don't want the real thing this is the best!
I looked at quite a few faux grasscloth peel and stick wallpaper and this one was by far the best. While it will never have the texture of real grasscloth, this one has mild texture that keeps it from looking like a picture of grasscloth projected onto shiny paper - which is what all the other ones looked like. The paper has weight and is easy to work with. If you don't want the real thing this is the best!

Texture isn't like grasscloth, but quality is still great.
I ordered a sample and I've heard a lot of folks talk about the texture, I agree it doesn't feel like grasscloth, but I'm okay with that. The name of the paper does include "faux". However, knowing it wasn't "giving grasscloth" was helpful going in so that my expectations were appropriate. Even from the sample, the quality of the paper seems very high. So I'll be ordering this for my upcoming project!

This one is so easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one is so easy to install. Once you get one panel level, the rest line up very easily by overlapping one stripe. I got my hallway project wrapped up in a couple of hours, and it added a beautiful texture and color to an otherwise boring hallway. Love tempaper!

Great removable wallpaper!
I don't know what real grasscloth feels or looks like, so I can't comment on how "authentic" it looks like some of the other reviewers. I chose this in the "Sterling Silver" color because I wanted something slightly textured and slightly metallic to help lighten up our living room. Prior to adding this wallpaper, our living room was entirely dark green, and in the winter months, was too dark and depressing. I applied it totally by myself (with the help of the Tempaper toolkit), and it was pretty easy and only took about a half hour. This particular paper is pretty forgiving in terms of lining it up correctly, so I had no issues there. The rolls themselves did come with some creases in them, which disappeared when you smoothed it out on the wall. The end product did have some tiny air bubbles / lines in it, but I'm no expert in applying wallpaper, and I'm not a perfectionist. Good enough!! (I'd add before & after pics, but there's no option to add photos in the review section I was given!)

I love the ease of applying this paper. I would suggest watching the videos on the site for helpful tips. I paperd a small wall to see how it would look. It looks great, a few air bubbles remained, but with a small pin hole and squeegee them out.
Very pleased with this product!

Made for beautiful headboard accent wall
We applied the grosscloth paper as a faux headboard meets accent wall in our bedroom. The wall paper was a little tricky to apply since our walls aren't straight or level. Took about 3 hours to apply 3 roles.
The finished look is beautiful and reflects light nicely.

Best faux grasscloth print out there
Love love love this! The print and the texture is excellent. By far the best faux grass cloth peel and stick out there (I would know after spending a year pulling samples from everywhere for comparison). This was the perfect fit for our mid century modern home.

Love love love this paper. Looks so rich :money_mouth: love the metallic bits and the way it emulates the grass cloth texture. It's perfect in this Powder Room! Easy to match up while hanging compared to other patterns that have an additional horizontal element
