Buyers beware from
Poor quality of the white Tribeca Writing Desk
Highly disappointed.
This item does not match the description on the website. Shoppers be wary.
There is no glossy finish and its shows scoff marks just from my pencil and pen notes from my books, that does not clean off. I have had this desk for only two months and the surface looks terrible. Unfortunately returns are not an option at this time.
I bought a desk with this exact description and name from Wayfair in 2014 and it is still in perfect condition., and has a glossy finish as shown in this picture and does not show any marks. When I saw this, I assumed it was the same desk by the same maker.
Highly disappointed with this purchase and especially with the price paid. The $50.00 Ikea desk my kids use for school has a nicer finish and even crayon and color pencil marks are easily wiped away with a clean finish.
For a high end site such as Bellacor, and a $400 price tag, I would have expected honesty about this product and quality.
I was very excited when I discovered Bellacor as I was in the process of purchasing a new home and looking for furniture. This desk demonstrated that the site is not to be trusted.

Does this desk have formaldehyde or any other harmful chemicals in its materials ?
Yes, the glue that is needed to bind wood particles together will always contain some formaldehyde, but it’s certified to be below the safety requirement standards to meet CARP P2 and EPA.
