Shelf needs better support
The shelf itself is nice but cannot be attached to wall sturdily without additional reinforcement.

Can you provide detail on how these floating shelves are installed?
They have a metal piece with two protruding arms that is screwed into the wall. Then slide the shelf which has two holes in the back that match up into the arms.
