Nice looking wallpaper, but tricky to install
I just finished the room in which I installed this paper. This is a nice pattern, in that the colors are pastel in nature and allow for matching with a variety of colors in furniture and style. The paper is installed in the living room, which is the first room one would see when one would enter the house.
Originally, we were going to do all four walls of the living room with this paper, but changed when we had 2 walls up: it was obvious that all 4 walls would just be too busy. So, we did 3 walls and then did the 4th wall as an accent wall in a calming style using a green grasscloth style of paper. We think it turned out well.
This wallpaper did have a problem: the pattern repeats every 20.5 inches, both vertically and horizontally. This large pattern makes the installation of the paper a touchy task, with little room for forgiveness when it comes to error. An error will result in a loss of up to 20.5 inches off the roll, which means that you may get only 3 drops of 96 inches out of a double roll of 386 inches. Make sure that you have drawn your vertical guide lines on the walls for the sheets as it is easy to lose the vertical when installing the paper around an arch or doorway (or corner, if the corners are not plumb). Another recommendation would be to get an extra roll (or two) to take error into account. When calculating how many rolls will be needed for a job, don't rely on the square footage to be covered - look at how many actual drops you can get out of each double roll.
Dealing with the seams for this paper could be tricky as well. There were areas where a flower might match on the edge but a leaf above the flower would be a bit off. The walls may be a bit curvy, and straight edges don't conform well to curves (as can be see on the green paper).
So, overall, a 3 out of 5, given the difficulty of the pattern to deal with. The quality of the paper is better than others I've seen (for example, the green paper in the picture was just a huge pain to deal with). The pattern, once it is installed, does make the room look good.
