The Alsace fan d‘lier is in part, a chandelier, and in part, a ceiling fan. This collection of chandeliers is inspired by the wine barrels typically seen in French vineyards. Bold in scale and commanding in presence, the Alsace Fan D-lier has riveted iron details and a reclaimed wood finish. With unexposed chestnut fan blades, this ceiling fan offers people an alternative to the traditional fan. It‘s upscale, relaxed and minimal, making it the perfect complement for living rooms, gourmet kitchens and wine rooms.

Great ceiling fan
Just had this fan installed yesterday and already ❤❤❤ it!!!! I have low ceilings in my house and this is the perfect ceiling fan. Because the blades are enclosed no worries of walking by and having to dodge the blades. Also it is in my dinning room so the look of it is much nicer than a regular ceiling fan!!! Another winning purchase from Bellacor!!!

This fan states a hologen bulb. Can I use an LED bulb in this fixture?

1) Can the bulb be replaced with a LED bulb? 2) can the on/off function of the light be controlled via a wall switch?

Yes My electrician put in a wall switch. The fan is operated with the remote. But the switch allows you to turn it off and on at whatever setting it was on. I am not sure about the light bulb. Hope this helps

How short a downrod can I get away with mounting this fan?
