The globe will be luminous when it is lit, as it is made of natural alabaster, and the polished nickel finish on the metal intensifies the coolness of the design. Alabaster is a natural material, so there will be slight variations in each of the fixtures. The Bombelles can be mounted with the globe pointing up or down.
