This artisan-crafted step stool was designed to provide that extra step-up.. Equally well-suited for use beside the bed, in the den or kitchen, it may be used wherever a little extra reach is needed. It is crafted from select hardwood solids, wood products and choice cherry veneers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, well built stool Very solid and well built. It’s beautiful and my mom loves it to help her get into bed after a new matress purchase. Came packaged well with no damage. Only reason for 1 less star is because the color of the stool is not as dark as it appears in the photo. I know there are variations due to screens, but it looks completely different. It’s more of a true reddish brown cherry in person. I even checked the item number on the box when it arrived to ensure it was the correct stool. The color in the photo would have matched my mom’s bedroom set a little closer.

What type of wood is the step? Does it have to be assembled? Is glue used in the assembly ?

The step stool is constructed from acacia, a dense hardwood and MDF. It comes fully assembled. It is glued and screwed, and boasts corner block construction for added stability.
