Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in quality I like the size and weight of this step stool, but the quality of the finishing was poor. The stain looks as though it wasn't finished in places, the shine was inconsistent, the wood was not smooth. For the cost, I expected higher quality furniture. It does not look like the picture!

In the specs, it states that this step stool weighs 89 lbs. Is this accurate?

Thank you for your inquiry. The product weight currently listed on the specs page is incorrect - sorry for that unfortunate mistake. The step stool weighs approximately 15 lbs, making it light enough to transport from one room to another, yet its hardwood and manufactured wood construction is sturdy enough to support weights up to 285 lbs.
