Thank you for your inquiry. This console table is wrapped in woven raffia, a natural straw-like material that is cultivated and made in the Philippines. The raffia material is dyed with distinctive markings and subtle tonal variations inherent to the natural material. It features a clear lacquer finish to protect the natural raffia from spills and to provide years of enjoyment. To preserve its beauty and to minimize fading, we recommend to keep the table out of direct sunlight. The console table ships fully assembled and measures 36"W x 16"D x 30"H.The top shelf measures approximately 4.5" H, and the lower display shelf measures approximately 11.75"H. The storage drawer is fully extendable featuring English dovetail joinery with a safety stop, and the interior measures 20.75"W, 11"D, 6.5"H.
