The German Silver Console from Hooker Furniture is like jewelry for your home. This console, one of Hooker‘s best-selling pieces of accent furniture, is perfectly placed front and center in a hallway, living room or foyer. Place photo frames, keepsakes and home decor on top and you have instant style. The unique distressed finish of this console table is a German silver foil which gives the exterior its lustrous appearance.

- Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
- We recommend dusting frequently with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Clean the surface by rubbing in the direction of the grain. We recommend polishing your furniture approximately every six months using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and rubbing the polish in the direction of the grain. Guardsman furniture polish or any furniture polish that doesn't contain silicone is recommended.

I ordered this piece back at the end of Jan ; they didn’t deliver until March 12; after delivery men left I inspected piece the paint was streaking there were nails showing and popping out , Their customer service is not the most friendly.

I would really like to see the inside of the cabinet...what is color inside. How long before it is in stock? Is the back finished? Return policy? I love the color is brassy gold, not silver. How much assembly? Thank you.

What is the color of this peice? It says silver but it looks more like gold in the picture
This Console features a German silver finish which does not refer to silver. The color of this console is nearer to pale brass.
