Can this be used with an adjustable bed?

Most of the adjustable beds will fit inside the complete bed frame based on the inside dimensions. But in regards to headboard(only) not sure if that can be attached to the adjustable bed frame, if the headboard (only) is not a free-standing, it would need to be applied with a wall unit (separate support) that the customer would need to purchase and apply to wall.
