Rated 3 out of 5 by A Myers from Pretty, but disappointing and frustrating This bedframe was a nightmare to put together. The wood is too soft to use a drill, but hard enough that the hand drilling is difficult and tedious (at times painful and will split the wood). There is not enough prep in the wood to allow for easy assembly. Please be aware that the bed slats are NOT connected together and require you to screw every slat into place by hand and also ensures it doesn't come apart easily. Also, the spindles are too narrow for the holes and rattle. I had to go buy wood glue and filler to stop the movement and noise. I should have trusted the reviews and invested in a higher grade model from a different retailer.

It came in a package that was pretty beat up but it was very heavy and solid so I was thinking it was going to be good quality. The white paint on the wood was very thin and you could see the wood grain through it. When putting it together, I noticed that the frame was not sturdy at all. One of the screws went in crooked and went through the side of the frame. I was not even able to get the whole frame together. My hands are sore and now I have to find somewhere to dispose of all of this wood.

I love the shape of the legs, the platform, the spindle headboard, and the stain of the wood. When I ordered it the website said the next estimated shipping date was November 26, but I actually received it by November 21 so that was great! Cons: The headboard has multiple nicks and dents on the wood. I understand that’s the risk when ordering furniture that will be delivered in a box, but I wish the headboard had been better packaged to prevent this as it’s the most visible part of the bed. Some of the bed slats were sturdier than others too, so I’m hoping this bed holds up. Overall I think it’s a cute and sturdy bed but I wish it had been treated more gently while in transit. Also assembly took about 2.5 hours which isn’t a bad or good thing. Just something to keep in mind.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Aaron s from Not bad. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed isn’t that bad. It’s a great beginner bed. We decided to give it to our child for that reason. The boards under the mattress are very flimsy and i have a feeling that one time of children jumping on the bed and they will break. Bed had a few scraps / dings when it arrived but seeing as a child will be using it , it wasn’t a big deal to us. The bed it’s self is cute and very “chic boho” my wife says.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jingle Balls from Soft Design - Value Buy. I do think it’s a good product for the price. But a few things to mention - How soft the wood is. It’s going to show any dents, dings, and fat person finger prints. Also the supplied Allen key really sucks sack for most of the screw locations.

The spindle design at the headboard is just tall enough to lean pillows against to sit up in bed, though it's pretty uncomfortable without pillows. Additionally, it's great that the bed is tall enough to fit some low / flat storage underneath (HUGE bonus in a bedroom).

Rated 2 out of 5 by Linda M from Bed Itself is Fine-Directions and Assembly is Awful The wood seems to be of good quality for the most parts but the fact that literally everything is in separate pieces made assembly cumbersome. Granted I’m not the quickest when it comes to these things but it took HOURS. Be hesitant when buying as this will take a whole lot of effort to put together as well as dealing with holes not being aligned and having to make a number of adjustments.

It took me a couple hours to put it together, but I'm not really handy. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and it’s been holding up well. It’s also made with wood and doesn’t require a box spring. Overall, great platform! I received this product free for my honest opinion.
