How long are the cord and chain that come with this fixture? I have very tall porch ceilings and want to hang this low over a table.

What color would you say the metal is? And what color is the ball? Is the ball metal or wood? Are the candles enclosed in the glass cylinder or is the top of the glass open?

The color of the metal is Black. The fixture and ball is wood, comes with clear glass shade candles. And the glass is open on the top.

I live on the water, what type of metal is this fixture made of, my concern is it will rust out possibly if not made of decent weather resistant/salt water resistant metal material?

This Fixture is made up of steel. It can be used in a damp location includes mostly outdoor areas that are covered. Damp locations are not directly exposed to water and are shielded from precipitation and storms.
