This is a great, sturdy floor lamp. It's taller than most, but in a good way and a cinch to assemble, It comes with Velcro for lampshade set up- intelligent. My gripe is the lampshade design. It looks cheap and the lampshade isn't long enough to cover the light socket so I'll need to upgrade to a better one in future

Great looking lamp
I just purchased this lamp and I’m thrilled with it. It looks great and was very easy to put together. It’s the perfect height for my room and I love the large drum shade. I also appreciate the fact that it comes with a bulb. The bulb itself isn’t very bright but I’m using this as an accent lamp so it’s fine. I like the on/off pull control rather than a foot control that a lot of lamps have.

Assembly was a breeze and it's nice that the bulb is included. This is a solid lamp with a weighted base. Love the design and wooden details in particular. Just to mention two minor flaws: Would prefer a switch rather than a pull cord which is a pet magnet. Also, the bulb protrudes above the rim of the lampshade - and I'm not a LED fan!

This lamp's a perfectfit for a tricky living room corner. The color, shape and fabric of the lampshade mean that the light shines out from both the top and bottom of the product and now we have a well-lit corner! It works well, I like the pull chain and think Brightech is a quality company. Overall, very pleased with this purchase

It would have got 5 stars but, the shade brought its rating down, as the shade came flat with a velcro closure.I did not like the shade at all. I found the lamp to be a substantial product and very well balanced by the base, which is a hefty base. I really like this lamp and would definitely tell other people to buy it.

Its design and Walnut Eucalyptus wood finish appeal to me but,the colour of the shade was different to what I had expected. I was looking for a whiter shade and the shade I received was more of a beige shade.This Carter lamp is still an excellent lamp at an excellent price!

If you want a versatile, classical lamp, this is the exact lamp for you.A well built lamp. It could maybe do with a bit added height but, all in all it is fits so well in between these two designer, stylish recliner chairs in my living room. Exceptional quality product.
