The lamp measures at 25".  Is the shade height of 11" additional?  So the total height from base (table top) to lamp shade top 36"?  If not, what is the total finished combined height?

Can this be used as an accent lamp on a kitchen counter.

This Lamp gives a ambient lighting and can be used in any dry Locations. A dry location is an indoor area that is not normally subject to dampness which includes kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, foyers, hallways. It comes supplied with 12' ft cord for hanging height adjustment.

What are the true colors on this lamp?

Unfortunately not quite as nice as pictured.  The white background is more a cold gray and the other colors are a bit muted.  As pictured, I'd have loved it.  When it arrived, I was disappointed.
