does the 26.75" tall include the "stem" or is that just the actual hanging fixture itself?

The Fixture itself measures 26.75” inch in Height. It comes supplied with four (4) 12'' Stems, and one (1) 6'' Stem for height adjustment.

I Have a dining room table 9 feet Long X45 inches wide. Dining room area is 18 feet Long x 16 wide. Would two of these look good over the dining room table?

Pendants above dining room tables should have a diameter of 1/2 to 2/3 the width of the table. If your room is in the 14'-18' range, look for light that measures 24" to 36" in diameter.
