- Frame Construction: Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

Beautiful and Quality Built.
I’ve been looking for new counter stools for YEARS. I needed counter height, I wanted a back with no arms and I wanted them to swivel. When I found these online I fell in love them. They are just what we were looking for. The only thing I wasn’t quite expecting was how heavy they are. I’m going to have to find really good slides/pads to put on the bottom of the legs. The little felt ones just fall off. This is not a complaint in any way as I feel like they are very well built and will last for years. Plus’s they are quite comfortable. I definitely would recommend them to a friend, family or clients. (Side note I ordered 5 of them. We currently are living in one of our rental homes while we build a new home so our island will be much bigger when we move into the new home. These came a lot faster than expected. I was expecting to wait a few months for them to come back into stock.)

These are absolutely beautiful in person. I didn’t realize when I purchased them that they swivel. That was a very nice surprise. I have had them about a month now and I am very happy with them. If you are thinking about purchasing this counter stool don’t hesitate any longer. You won’t be disappointed, I promise you that.
