Rated 1 out of 5 by mcrevell from Beautiful Fixture, Completely Flawed Design We have had this fixture installed in our powder room for less than 18 months. We heard the loudest CRASH this morning and ran downstairs to see that the glass globe just fell out of the fixture and smashed on my marble sink. The glass damaged my marble countertop and my brand new wallpaper. This was not a cheap light fixture and beyond just having to figure out how to replace the glass (and keep it from falling out again?) I now have to find someone to repair my marble countertop and I may have to strip and rehang my wallpaper. At the very least I will need a new glass globe but what's to say that one won't come crashing down as well? There are only a three tiny and very shallow (1/8"??) prongs holding the glass globe in place, and clearly not securely! If someone had been standing under it they could have been severely injured if not killed.
