This is one stool it set? Is parawood an actual tree or some fake weird manmade concoction?

This stool is constructed from eco-friendly parawood so it is a beautiful and durable solid wood piece. Parawood is a hard wood that comes from the great rubber plantations of Malaysia. The price is listed for a single stool.

Are these stools assembled? If not, what is required to put them together? Also, do they take stain evenly? Thanks!

They come ready assembled and well wrapped.  We have not yet stained ours and we may yet decide to paint them.  We are impressed with the stability and quality for the price.
