It's edges are tighty stitched and the pattern is thick and plush, soft to the touch and very tightly made,no pieces falling out from wear at all. We have wood floors and there's nothing better than stepping on a warm soft rug. This is a beautiful rug. My husband stole it for his side of the bed! Only problem with this rug is that I only got one, LOL!
