Rated 1 out of 5 by from kichler photocell for landscape lighting These photocells are worthless. Not worth the price. Each photocell I had failed after a short time beyond the warranty period which is one year. Find an alternative manufacturer photocell. Owned 4 different Kichler photocells and after 4 years they have not improved the quality. I'll buy another manufacturer photocell and wire it to fit the landscape transformer. What can go wrong?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fourth one in six years!!! Not sure where the defect lies, but I'm now on my fourth one in about 6 years. I would like to find a suitable replacement to the Kichler part # 15565BK. I hope Kichler finds one soon, before this one fails. There has to be a more reliable manufacturer-if anyone knows of one, please leave word here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it Bought the photocell along with the transformer and outdoor lighting. I’m on the 2nd photocell in 5 years. First one was replaced under warranty. I highly recommend NOT to purchase this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrating poor quality Although very easy to install, each plug in photocell I’ve had — and I’ve had several — has failed, sometimes within months of installation. Unlike the transformer and LED lights that are part of the Pro series, the photocells are not reliable at all. I’ve tried to find other sources for the photocell unsuccessfully. Kichler has a propietary fitting on. I do not recommend this photocell particularly at the near $50/each price.
