Rated 5 out of 5 by from right choice Bought this lamp several weeks ago. Arrived just before a vacation. When I got back it was up and lighting the living room just as I had hoped. I did a lot of comparison shopping. Would have preferred two reading lights, but this seemed the the right deco style with a good strong presentation. The lamp is heavy and looks and feels solid. It will not lean or tilt. The brightness is such that a lost second reading light isn't even needed. At this point in time I can confirm that I made the right choice. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as pictured - the lampshades are orange/yellow This item is not as pictured--the lampshades are actually orange/yellow rather than white. It's also worth noting that there are small bronze rings here and there up the lamppost , in case that doesn't work with your decor.
