Rated 4 out of 5 by New house from Nice but needs some improvement The main components of this light seem well made - the metal parts, shade, glass diffuser. However the trim along the edge of the shade looks cheap and not very well applied. I also had to pull off some blobs of dried glue that were visible through the sheer outer shade. Installation overall was not difficult, but trying to get the glass diffuser to become level took a lot of work. Overall the piece looks nice and three bulbs provides plenty of light for our small hallway, but for this price point I expected better quality in construction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tony from Lovely Fixture, but Worst Instructions Ever! The fixture itself is lovely and we are very happy with it, however the installation did not go easily because of the WORST INSTRUCTIONS EVER! I carefully followed the step by step instructions and when I got to the last step, which says "Attach the fixture body onto the outlet box by protruding mounting screws (C) through mounting holes on the canopy (D)...", THERE WERE NO PROTRUDING MOUNTING SCREWS! They forgot to mention that before mounting the crossbar to the outlet box that you must install the mounting screws on the crossbar and lock them in place with the hex nuts. As a result, I had to open all the electrical connections, take down the fixture, remove the mounting bar, install the mounting screws, reinstall the mounting bar, reconnect the wires, then finally attach the fixture to the box. Whew!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Impossible to install It is near impossible to install due to the way the wires need to be shoved through the too skinny pole that is surrounded by the large one. Trying to do that while holding the fixture and getting the piece that screws to the ceiling was ridiculous. We bought two and have only installed one due to the impossible physics involved. Also the ground wire broke off.

I'm pretty savvy when it comes to electrical and pretty much all home repairs. Sadly, I should have trusted the reviews but decided to take the chance anyway. The instructions are absolutely terrible! Also, I had to buy additional parts to make it work.

So pleased by it's elegance. I'm furnishing a rental property with 8 ft ceilings and this grounds the room without taking the ceiling height down - hope that makes sense.
