Is this light fixture solid stainless steel? I plan to use it by the seaside.

Hello Bruster, this fixture is made of aluminum. It isn't sold in stainless steel. If you're by the coastal area I would encourage you to look at Sea Gull & Feiss (sister brand) fixtures made from StoneStrong. StoneStrong is a proprietary material that is impervious to UV rays & salt spray. Yes - I'm using it on my front porch. It provides excellent light with an LED 75w bulb.
