Rated 4 out of 5 by durgon from Perfect look for over our kitchen island Bought two of these pendants for over our granite kitchen island and they look beautiful! Only reason I'm giving them four stars instead of five is because we had to send one of the glass shades back due to the hole in the top being off center. Return was easy and received the new shade in a couple of days.

can you use  a LED light

Yes,. I found a Phillips LED 650 Lumens 9 watt bulb that works well. (A "regular" light bulb has a more round bottom on it that can be seen more under the bottom of the fixture.) I like that look best . However, we did buy this LED bulb. This wattage is enough to provide plenty of light for reading - over our small kitchen table
