does the bottom of this fixture flip open to change the light bulb, nothing to unscrew?
The bottom portion is attached by using some clips and you can detach the entire glass portion by removing the screws. Please contact our Customer Care Department for the instruction manual.

Will these tarnish
Since the finish is antique bronze (already tarnished from age), I doubt the look will change much with time. Our fixture looks like it did when we installed it 18 months ago, although it is on a porch ceiling protected from the elements.
