Is this a hand painted or a print

Hello, Our Proud Papa is an original painting on wood with lots of texture and dimension. To note, the background color is of a darker grey than shown on the internet. We receive compliments for it all the time. We have 15' high ceilings, so it makes quite a statement when one walks in our Florida home. I hope that helps.

Is the border of the picture grey or tan? The photo of the picture that has the plant in the bottom left corner makes it appear that it has a tan border since I see the artists signature at the bottom
