These lights are beautiful and worth the price I paid for them. Other places are offering similar pendants for double or more. I love the fact they don't have glass or any reflection in the pendant. I hate cleaning glass. If you purchase this light you will be pleased with the quality. I would recommend it.

Everyone loves the size and how bright they light up the island. The size is not to small or to large. Perfect for our 9 foot length island.

Is the base bottom size 16" wide by 16" wide making a square at base bottom? Also, Is the height 19 1/2" including the cap that goes up to the chain?

The Width: 16" is the measurement taken from furthest point left to furthest point right on fixture, the base should be approximately 12"-inch. The height is measured from chain collar loop to the bottom most point of fixture.

The description says this lamp has a "glass covering" but I do not see that in the picture.  Is there a glass covering or it is simply the metal frame as it appears in the picture?
