Rated 1 out of 5 by BryanK from Terrible customer service and return policy. Under the description for this fan it stated Control Features: Universal Remote/Wall Control (Included)Transmitter Type: Wall or Handheld but it only came with the wall control. I thought i must not have read the description wrong and this was my fault My electrician was already there to install so I went ahead and installed it thinking I could get the remote later. The wall controller didn't seen to work correctly going from dim to bright and fast to slow then it started smoking so the electrician said the wall mount was malfunctioning and faulty and he removed it so my house would not burn down. I got another fan installed instead and started the process of returning the fan and wanting a refund. Bellacor will not refund me because the fan had already been opened and installed with wire cuts. I will never buy from Bellacor again. Terrible costumer service.

Can I order a longer downrod?

All Craftmade downrods are 1/2" diameter; with holes for the pin on both ends, but threaded only on one end. You can always go longer than what the fan comes with, just not shorter. The longest downrod length for this fan is 48", #DR48SB. If you need to go even longer, you can use a coupler, #COUPLER-SB; to connect two downrods together. To provide you with an exact part number, we would need to know what length you need. The part number sequence is #DR(inches)SB. Craftmade does not sell direct. It would need to be ordered through one of our dealers, such as Bellacor.
