It has a dimmable LED, and it only uses a few watts of power, yet it produces a bright light. The light is fashionably diffused through the solid glass, with tiny air bubbles throughout the glass, and nice looking etching on all sides. It casts a nice pattern on nearby surfaces. It is suspended on a very small coaxial power cord, making it seem like the glass light source is almost floating in midair. There is enough cord to suspend it almost 12 feet! It is very easy to mount to a standard light box. It is nice to look at, and very functional.
