Beautiful MCM 'satellite' fixture!
We purchased this with plans to mount over dining or living room area. Decided on the living room. The Honey gold with the opaque white globes is a beautiful combo. Gives off sufficient light. *the only minus is that the bulbs 'buzzed' when we turned on the light. My husband added a dimmer and new switch and this seemed to resolve the issue. May be the bulbs.
Very unique and beautiful light. *Be aware that the he/she parts at the ends of the extender arms can be removed and adjusted for the desired height. I didn't realize that they could be unscrewed and added or detached.

Great light in foyer
I bought this light a month ago. I had it installed in my 2 story foyer. It really makes a statement, especially when seen coming down the stairway. I was able to purchase an additional down rod from Bellacor to extend the height. Although I had a professional install it, he had it done in a flash. The mid-century features of this fixture complement my style.

Do you think this would work well above a stair landing? The landing is about two thirds of the way up to the second floor. Or would it look too small there? Thanks.
Above the landing that has a high ceiling, consider big, bold, bright lighting options for proportion and good illumination. Hang a chandelier to no lower than average ceiling height, about 8 feet from the platform area. However it is always recommended to consult with a certified electrician to confirm the type and size of the Chandelier considering the Ceiling Landing, Natural Light and Wiring limitations.
