It is HUGE but doesn't come down too far off the ceiling. The fan blades are a beautiful chestnut with black outlined on the edges. The fan hardware itself reminds me of a wrought iron. The light is directly in the center but does not offer a room full of light. It is more of a spotlight, so if you are using this for a huge room you will need additional lighting. It really cools the room down. Because of its size, it really makes a difference. This fan almost reminds me of being in a boathouse, photos do it no justice!!

Very detailed clear instructions , all of the pieces fit nicely together. It is extremely attractive and also very balanced. Puts off a ton of air exactly where you need it. The switch offers different speeds, and different variations on the lighting from very dim to nice and bright. The light is not blinding but puts off a very nice warm glow. Excellent addition to any room that you may want to look very nice.

I love the style and the finish. This finish fits with modern or classic settings. Seems to move air very well in my living room. The blades are efficient and makes a difference the minute you turn it on, even on low. Very good quality craftsmanship, doesn’t wobble, and the light is bright and dimmable. It's time consuming to assemble, but easy and straight forward. If you have dealt with fans, this one is no different when assembling. Needed no additional balancing after installing all the blades. Very happy and truly impressed with this fan. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are like me and love the look and style of farmhouse or rustic decor, you are going to love this ceiling fan! The craftsmanship and quality of this fan is remarkable. Some assembly is required, but the instructions are detailed and very easy to understand. The fan is really quiet, you can barely hear it run, but the airflow circulation is amazing. The feature I love the most about this ceiling fan is that it is controlled by a wall switch. This switch gives you the ability to control the fan, as well as, the LED light. This fan is definitely the centerpiece to our newly redone family room. This fan is amazing!

The difference is amazing. I don't sleep well in a warm room. This fan truly cools off the entire room. It is whisper quiet. This nine blade model IS a breath of fresh air. It has changed the entire look and feel of my room. It is a classic, tasteful style that will look well with any decor I use in the future. The quality is top notch. I know that I will enjoy this fan for many years to come. I love it!

I was very impressed with the length of the blades and the size of the ceiling fan itself. It's very quiet and was very easy to put together. Two drawbacks. my house is older and not wired for the wall control it came with so I had to purchase a separate remote control for my fan, also I wished the light would be either multi brightness or just brighter in general. I'm using mine in the living room and it is to dark. So I am keeping my eyes out for an update on the light. All in all the Gentry LED 65" Fan Anvil Iron™ is an amazing fan, moves air and super quiet. I would recommend this Gentry LED 65" Fan Anvil Iron™to family and friends

My husband installed this in our living room. It was a little tricky for him at first because our house is older and our electrical sucks but after a quick rewire we were ready to go! I will say however the light isn't quite as bright as I would like. It's not a deal breaker for me because we do have floor lamps but I know for some people it will be an issue. The airflow is a major upgrade for us though and that was mainly what I was looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AmandaF from Gorgeous fan [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love our Kichler 65 inch led distressed ceiling fan, it goes beautifully in our family room. we have a more rustic decor and this fits perfectly with the black anvil iron finish and the dark walnut fan blades its a piece of art. it has 6 speeds with wall control and it works like a dream, it's virtually silent and the LED lights put out 1600 lumens for great ambient room lighting! when turned up the fan really moves air well and even helps the airflow of adjacent rooms, blades are also reversible to change airflow when necessary, we usually change the airflow with the seaons. It truly is a center piece for the room. The install was a bit challenging but if you have moderate skills you should be able to tackle the project.
