This chandelier has a distinctive metal base that is touched with an Olde Bronze finish, which complements the Light Umber Etched Glass adornment. This design is more of a modern up to date style that immediately draws attention. I had this light installed by husband who is experienced in lifting and electrical. He was able to install the light with the help of two other people to hold the chandelier in place. The installing process took no longer than 30 minutes from start to finish. I though the light fixture was gorgeous just right out of the box but after seeing it in my dinning room lit up was breath taking. This light fixture is the perfect center piece of the room and has gotten many compliments.
