Great choice for my decorating needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just installed this last week...my husband and son, that is. We are so very pleased with the ease of install, and the attractiveness of this fan. I was hoping to see a warmer LED output, and will be looking to see where to find a unit. I thought it was interesting that the LED unit is an all in one piece, that is, the LED's are in the glass lamp. I chose this unit based on the lower ceiling height, and for the great match the lamp made to six existing kitchen lights that are set into the ceiling around the perimeter of the cooking area. One color side of the blades made a perfect coordination to my cherry cupboards.

Very quiet and light is jus tthe right brightness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fan installed for two weeks now. I initially was not excited about buying a fan with a remote control -- just another thing to potentially break. But after a little research, I determined that I could bypass the entire remote control system and wire the fan directly to a fan-control wall switch, and wire the LED light directly to a standard wall dimmer. Works great -- no issues with having done this so far, and I've used the fan and light a lot. (This is not a installation configuration described or supported in the manual, so do so at your own risk.)
It was a little challenging to install with the supplied short rod, but was doable.

Do not buy this fan!
The entire light fixture must be replaced when the light burns out. AND, it’s expensive if you can find it ( 1/2 the price of your fan!) if you cannot find it, you must replace your fan and pay an installer to install the new fan. I will never even look at another MinkaAire product. I seriously regret this purchase. With a Hunter or any other brand, you simply replace the bulb when it burns out. No extra junk in the lanfill, inexpensive and easy.

Attractive and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I visited the home stores and found no ceiling fans to my liking. We needed to replace old, dated ones in a home we bought. When I went online and found these, they seemed to fill the bill. We had our electrician install one each of these in the family room and master bedroom. They go with any decor, give an 'updated' look and work beautifully. Very happy with them.

awesome sleek fan, quiet, slighty modern
This is my second MinkaAire fan and I love it. I did not put it up myself but my contractor/handyman didnt seem to have any issues with installation. The only issue I had was the remote programming, which requires other fans of the same brand in the house be disconnected from power. Since there were two fans on this one circuit that required we get a little creative, but it all worked out in the end.

So far, so good!
We purchased 2 of these fans in white for the great room in a beach house. We received one white and one wood grain. I was able to process the exchange pretty easily and had the correct one within a week.
They were installed a couple of weeks ago and so far everything is working as expected. They look great and hope that they continue to perform for years to come.

Beautiful fan
I bought this fan for a bedroom and it looks great, works smoothly and quietly and the price fit my current budget. The reverse switch is on the fan housing but I wish it had a switch on the remote. I know Minka's fans that are priced above this one have that feature. Luckily the fan is easily reachable with a small step ladder. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful, but not bright
Absolutely beautiful fan! My clients love the look! BUT - it is not bright. It is not bright enough to adequately light a smaller bedroom at night. It's only 1244 lumens, less than 2 60W lights bulbs with 800 lumens each. You will need can lights or lamps to make the room bright enough. Disappointed in quality of light for a mid-priced fan.
