Integrated LED = non-changeable lights and only warrantied for 1 year
Considered this fan, but saw it has integrated LEDs for it's light source. While it claims 10k hours of life, anyone's real world experience knows there's a high failure rate for LEDs due to poor Chinese manufacturing quality control. The warranty is only 1 year, so if the LEDs fail, you will be replacing the entire light kit - if it's even made anymore - otherwise you'll be replacing the entire fan. In addition, the lights are 3000K in color (yellow-tint), so if you prefer non-yellow lighting, such as 4000K or 5000K (blue-ish) - you're stuck with what the manufacturer chose.
I really wish this trend of integrated LEDs would stop in the fan and lighting industry.

Super quite
Very nice fan. As noted in the previous review this thing is super quite. Installation was a breeze and I replaced my Casablanca that went on the fritz in about 40 minuets.
Two things I wasn't crazy about. The blade material looks and feels cheap in comparison to the Casablanca we replaced. But when the fan is on (which it always is) you would never notice.
The other thing is the LED light panel has all the LED's located twards the center of the light panel so it creates a "hot spot" on the glass fixture. It would be much nicer if the spread out the LED's over a much larger area of the light plate.
Also the glass was kind of a smokey finish not white.
But all in all we are very happy with it.

Stylish and silent
DC motor makes this thing silent so the only thing you hear is the wind. I was looking for something unique to put up in our bedroom. Finding a fan which is not merely the standard ugly faux wood fans is actually more difficult than it seems. This fan fits the bill, sleek, silent, and throws out a lot of air. I would recommend also getting the wall controls-- an extra expense but worth it (can be used in conjunction with the remote... not an either or) for those times you can't find where the heck you put the remote down.

Not enough light
I don't like that all the new modern fans have LED lights in them. 17 watts does not provide enough light. This fan looks nice, but the glass cover on the bronze model does look a little dingy. I have found a clear glass replacement and am hoping it will help. The blades do look a little cheap, especially since mine had little chips on them that had been covered with marker. This should not happen at this price point. Grateful my ceiling is high so it's not noticeable. It does move air very well.

Great Fan if You Can Assemble It
This is a great fan, well worth the money. It took my handiman some doing, including a phone call to the company, to get it together and make both the wall switch and the remote work with this fan, but he was able to get it done. Glad I did not try it myself. I would not recommend this to anyone who thinks assembly is a DIY project unless you have lots of experience.

Quality Fan
Love the quality of this fan. It's very quiet and the air flow is beyond adequate. The brushed nickel is an amazing color and the stylish, contemporary design looks great with our modern/coastal design. Very happy with this fan!!!
