Very Nice
We are extremely happy with our purchase. The fan/light arrived just as shown in the photo. Runs extremely quiet. When purchasing we thought remote control was something that would be hand held however it is a remote wall switch. This is a nice feature however we do have a concern if the switch were to break is it replaceable and one reason for the four star rating. The other reason is we have only had a short time and not sure what the future holds. Looks and sounds sturdy so we can only hope for the best but feel it is not fare to rate a five for the unknown.

Pretty - different from picture
The ceiling fan is pretty. There was a problem with the "placement receiver" which controls the on and off of the fan and lights. The bottom lights did not receive a electric connection. Called the troubleshooter number and they order a replacement immediately. The glass light shade looks yellow in pictures and on-line, but is actually white. The plastic "coupling cover" that covers the top lights can be seen from the ground. The fan blades are same color on both sides. The picture on-line has them dark mahogany color, but they lighter, more an oak color.

Attractive Fan
I have had the fan 2 months. I am pleased with both the looks and operation of the Minke Aire Volterra fan. The fan adds a touch of class and sophistication to my living room. On low, the operation is very quiet. The wall control is easy to use.
I installed the fan myself. I needed help with the wiring. There are lots of wires. After half a Saturday, when installation was complete, I was satisfied. I would purchase again.

Just the right fan
Ordered the bronze fan which looks more like carved wood w/white light and it gives off more light than I thought it would in my living room. I have 12 ft ceiling and I ordered an 18" downrod which brings the fan down to just the right height. Very satisfied. Your customer service rep was very helpful in contacting the manufacturer to be sure the 18" rod would work with this fan. Thanks for the help!

Great fan ,put it in our master bedroom & can sleep with it on.
The blades are well balanced and continue to revolve for a couple of minutes after it is turned off.
The up light is cool ,but the main light is not bright enough for the whole room.
Instructions were a little complicated & I wish I knew that the "standard downrod" would allow the 7 ft. of clearance needed with an 8 ft. ceiling .

Well made
I bought this fan for my vaulted great room. I love the way the up light reflects on the ceiling. It has a warm glow from the down light as well. Great looking fan! The wall mounted control it also attractive & easy to use. There are small dots to push in for each of the functions.

Love this Ceiling Fan!!!
I recently purchased this fan for my living room with the matching 5' extender and the remote. It is absolutely stunning and it enhances the room greatly. The room has a slanted 22' ceiling. The remote works like a charm and I highly recommend you get it.

MINKA AIRE VOLTERRA FAN
Love this fan, we ordered the bronze and we love the finish, love the night light, we had purchased a similiar fan a couple years ago from a home improvement store cheaper, but we couldnt find another one. We love the fan, a little expensive though.
