Not a standalone showpiece (was not intended to be for our project) and it compliments the space. Good problem to have: picking a mirror shape is tough now as both oval and round options coordinate so well - I'm having trouble choosing which looks better!

We installed two of these fixtures pointing down 4 years ago so I hope I recall correctly that yes, they an be installed pointing up.

Will this fixture take LED bulbs?

I am not sure. We sold the house that had these fixtures. However, I was replacing every light bulb with LED Bulbs, so I think it will work.
