How do I get the light onto the fan,

Thanks for reaching out to us. You should line up the holes on the light kit to the ones at the bottom of the fan housing and secure the light kit to the fan housing using the provided fan screws. We have added an installation guide under the resources tab of the product page for your reference.

I purchased the How do I get the light onto the fan. It won't go on. It's almost like the ring from the base is the same size as the light base, so the light will not go on.
