"1 - 3 Watt Super White LED Bulb" - means you have to put one number of 3 Watt bulb on this Lamp. A 3-watt LED bulb may produce anywhere between 240 to 320 lumens.

Is this enough light to read if it is the only light used?

The wall lamp uses a 1-3 watt super white LED which is sufficiently bright for reading purpose when used in a table lamp. For a wall lamp you may need a brighter bulb than this LED.

The initial lumen output of this LED wall lamp is 165 lumens. It is a 12 volt fixture. There is an On/Off Switch on the base.
