The dimming feature is great and the light on the pictures is perfect. Actually, so much better than the plug-in cord lights I had, that I replaced all of them with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not be better Perfect for a 15" x 15" oil painting. The LED bulbs are the right color to show the correct colors in the painting, a landscape. No cord, no hassle. Remote is a nice feature but we just use the on-off switch on the bottom of the light housing. The brass finish is good quality.

It turns out to be the perfect solution. It works great, has a dimming feature and takes up ZERO room in the nook. So pleased! And would buy this again.

We got rid of the unsightly electric cords on the wall, and the new lights work beautifully. The texture of the light is soft, and our grandkids love to work the remote control.

does light work on old patent prints

The LED lights illuminate prints just fine, but you'll have to ask museum folks whether that light poses any risk of damage to them.

Does this picture light have more than one light strength?  Can it be dimmed? Also,  Can it be easily mounted to the back of the painting?

This Picture Light comes with the eight number of 0.1 Watt LED Bulbs as stripe. This light is dimmable and remote controlled. And can be easily installed on wall or frame.
