Bellacor 8 inch picture light
The Bellacor remote control LED picture light truly brought out the beauty of one of our favorite European paintings. Painted in the "old Dutch master" style, the oil painting of a "Cheese Factory" is dark, yet with illumination it literally comes to life!

Great picture light in every way!
I bought two of these lights to enhance two framed paintings not receiving sufficient illumination. These lights exceed my expectations. Easy mounting, no cords, remote controlled, variable light intensity control, and, thanks to LED technology, good lumen yield even with being battery-powered. I like these so much that I bought two more to accentuate two other paintings we have!

Perfect
We received a beautiful painting, which is a gift from our brother-in-law.Knowing we did not have the capability to have an electric picture light, we took a chance an ordered the cordless light. It is perfect. It was delivered on time and easy to install.
Would definitely order this again in the future.

Very nice
Bought 2 of these in Antique Brass 8" and they are exactly what I wanted. They were easy to install; one I installed on frame the other on the wall. The remote is very convenient and easy to use.

Poor lighting.
Lighting does not provide more than 6 inches of depth to the painting. Though the width is adequate, the main body of the painting remains in the dark.

Will this product adequately illuminate art 3 feet wide and 2 feet high? Also, how heavy is it when batteries are installed? Can I mount it successfully on the frame and not the wall?

My frame is 33 x 35. Is this light good for these dimensions?
My frame is 35 across by 27 tall and it is fine. I think you should be fine. You are on the edge of needing the next size.

I have small oil painting I want to light up. It is in a gold frame which is 15 inches wide and 16 inches high. The painting itself is 10 1/2 inches high and 9 inches wide. What would you recommend for such a small painting?
I initially was happy with the light I purchased. But after 2 years the light stopped working. All batteries were replaced and still not operational. Very disappointing!
