Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks fabulous in my Lake Tahoe home. I was looking for the old Tahoe look in remodeling a lake house @ Tahoe. These chandeliers are effect...love them. Yes they are resin however no one will be up close enough to figure that out. The colors are varied and make it look so real...actually I had to it several times to figure out that it was resin. I wish they had a cieling mount for another side of the Hyde.

Does the color of the wood vary?

If you read closely it is NOT WOOD , the chandelier is made from resin . Another reviewer posted an actual pic of the smaller version and the finish looks nothing like shown in the display ad

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The chain length listed is 10 inches.   I need a much longer chain for 20 ft ceiling.   ??

Can I stain the wood a little darker?

It's not real wood. The lamp appears to be ceramic. They look very beautiful but if I had it to do over I wouldn't purchase. The first one I received was broken. It went back, then waited for the second one. That one also showed up damaged. The 3rd one showed up undamaged.
