This is NOT the color of this fan. I received it and it was a dark walnut. I thought maybe there was more than one option but there is not. They really need to change the color of the picture - people are not getting what they asked for! Have been dealing with letting them know for months. No one is getting back to me

Color Wrong, but fan works great.
I love the fan as it works GREAT, but the fan COLOR in the picture is NOT the fan color in reality. The true color is a dark walnut, although with the lights ON, it does appear more like the picture. So just be aware that the color on here is NOT what you get.

Painfully beautiful
We bought this a few months ago and it truly is a beautiful fan. First, ours is a lot darker than pictures, but the few reviews mentioned that. Second, we needed the rod to lower the fan and it was a special size not carries at Lowe’s or even local fan stores so we had to order it from this website which delayed installation. Third, this fan was a pain to install as it needed a special switch for the controls. We are lucky my husband uncle knows what he is doing or else we would have had to hire an electrician. Our fan did not come with a remote and we are still waiting for bellacor to call us. Finally, the light. Attachment broke during installation as of is plastic. Again, this is a gorgeous fan and I truly love it in my home, but had I realized the pain this would be to install I would have chosen a different fan. (This really did take 6 weeks for delivery)

Which down rod is compatible with this fan?
All Craftmade downrods are 1/2" diameter; with holes for the pin on both ends, but threaded only on one end. You can always go longer than what the fan comes with, just not shorter. The longest downrod length for this fan is 72", #DR72ABZ. If you need to go even longer, you can use a coupler, #COUPLER-ABZ; to connect two downrods together. To provide you with an exact part number, we would need to know what length you need. The part number sequence is #DR(inches)ABZ. We do not sell direct. It would need to be ordered through one of our dealers, such as Bellacor.

Yes, the wall control allows it to reverse but it needs to be in motion.
