Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading product picture The referenced 6 ft power cord is not shown as it truly exists. I've attached a pic to show how it really looks. I think the image is misleading and makes you think it is hard wired. Or at least doesn't show that a hole will exist if you remove the cord.

where is the on off switch and how long is the cord?

Thanks for reaching out to us. The switch in this fixture is located on the cord, about 8 to 12 Inches from where the cord exits the base of the fixture. The cord is approximately 5.5 Feet long.
