This fixture is positioned high in a loft hallway and from the bottom the sockets are exposed. I do not recommend for a location that will be high on a wall.

Looks just like the picture!
We are very satisfied with these sconces -- they look extremely similiar to the picture. The silver/white and double bulbs are a very modern look, which we are quite happy with! These were installed with the intention of selling our condo unit and we needed something more modern.
One (minor) item to note is that when the light is turned on, the shade looks a little more yellow/off-white than white, but when the shade is not turned on, it is quite white. I am sure it could have to do with the type of light bulbs used, but still something to consider.
These were easy to install in terms of connecting the wires, but if you have not previously installed a double circuit (2 bulbs that each have their own switch, in addition to the light switch), it will require some research and youtube instructional video's. It took us about an hour to understand how to do it, and then we were fine with the other 2.
