It's looks like the lights swival. May be a dumb question, but they can light directly downward, right? Also, I wish to recess mount them into the top of a wooden buffett unit. Are they insulated for such instalation? Thank you, Ernie

Can each puck light be hard wired?

It cannot be separately hardwired. The single puck kits contain a puck with only a lead wire and so this puck has to be the last puck in a series. To extend a three puck kit, purchase single bulk pucks to reach the quantity needed, up to twenty.
