Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice fixture- BUT- glass color in photo is FALSE Great light however the picture shows a more amber/ alabaster color which is FALSE. It is actually a very white fogged glass which didn’t match the center hanging fixture which had beautiful alabaster blown glass, so these were returned.

Is this lamp designed to provide down lighting or up lighting.  Also, how far our from the wall does it extend.  Thanks

This light fixture provides both up and down lighting and extends about 4" out from the wall.

The provided answer did not address my issue. When mounted vertically does the light shine up for effect or down to provide reading light. Or does it do neither and just shine thru the shade.  i want it for reading. Thanks

The top & bottom of this fixture is open. The light thrown enough shine through top & bottom of the shade. Can be reading under this lighting.
