Is this bright enough for a kitchen island?

Probably not. It’s great for my dinner table as you don’t need a super bright light but for a kitchen island I’d probably think you wouldn’t be happy with the amount of light from this fixture.

If I have a cathedral ceiling, what is the longest this fixture can be extended to?
