Can A candelabra bulb be used or does the base require a regular bulb base

Any type of bulb can be used in this Madeleine One-Light Corsican Gold Sconce, but the base of the bulb should be medium base.

if I bought this sconce 4 years ago and buy one now would the color still match.

The Corsican Gold finish should match the color tone of the newest one however the finish can only be matched with the clean and care measures and the environment of the application.
