Is this produce available with a chrome or nickel shade instead of the glass?

This Adjustable Single Light Wall Sconce is not available with chrome or nickel shade. However, similar type of wall sconce is available with Antique brass shade. Please refer our Bellacor number 98548.

Is that an On/Off switch or decorative knob on the socket?

There is no any switch on this light. This fixture has to be hardwired with a wall switch.
